I was a home schooler up till last year, and I know that homeschooling teens is not an easy job, depending on how cooperative they are. However, pursuing apprenticeships can make homeschooling easier and more productive.

It is easier in the way that the student can begin pursuing their dream job while still in high school, and turn homeschooling into a sort of vocational school. It can also be more productive, because when you use homeschooling as a vocational school, the student is more likely to be motivated and eager to learn. From my own experience and those of others I know, it would be best for home schooled teens to pursue apprenticeships, because of the benefits.
