Audio Learning

Short ramble about digital learning.

I own a coffee business and I spend a lot of time preparing for business.

My coffee business is not a cafe or a wholesaler selling coffee beans. I own a coffee van. We go around to different businesses and make them fresh qulaity Espresso coffee drinks. The customers love it.

So what has this got to do with Digital Learning.

I spend time preparing for businesss, cutting up cakes and wrapping them for sale, filling fridges with milk and filling containers with hot chocolate, grinding decaf. All of these activities are not very stimulating in fact they are quite boring. So I download a number of ebooks such as Napolean Hill think and Grow rich and other audio books that keep my brain active and allow me to develop the skills of becoming financially intelligent.

It is said that one would do the equivalent of a University degree if you just listened to audio books on your journeys in the car.

The other great thing I love is the fact that many people are doing live webinars on the internet offering training on every subject you can think of. These webinars can be transformed into MP3 files and downloaded onto an ipod or other MP3 device and you can also listen to that. I do a lot of my learning this way and it has been very effective. Of course I still listen to music on occasions but I love it when a little gold nugget arrives from a recording.

So if you find you have a but of mundane activity in your life spice it up with an audio book.
