Book Reading

No student is ever too young to decide when to study. There is a time to work and a time to play. A sincere student knows how to manage both.

Book reading is a good habit. No age limit for reading. Book reading improve our knowledge.

The aged man at the desk in the illustration below tells us something essential about being a student and that is-one can be a student at any age. There is so much to learn, so it is never too late to learn.

Some very learned scientists and writers only began to pursue the study of their subject after the age of forty years! Even Gandhi, despite his busy life found time to learn a new language in his later years.

This does not mean that you have to be middle-aged to begin studying. You are amongst the fortunate ones to leave started early, so, make the best of your student years to enrich your mind and shape a future for yourself.

To be a student is to be someone who loves and respects knowledge, and makes an honest effort to acquire it.

If studying is a chore for you, then you cannot call yourself a student at all. A true student is one who is interested in books and derives pleasure from learning and gaining knowledge. Do not forget, that “knowledge loves those who love knowledge’’.

But, if studying is fun for you, then have taken the first step to become a student.

Gain or garnish all the knowledge you can, because knowledge is the power that makes grea6t men like Einstein, Sir C.V. Raman, Gandhi, Nehru and Tagore.
