Campus Gossips and Rumors

The 1st issue of the school paper brought up a lot of things accentuating the crucial roles of teachers and linking them to different strategies with a well-balanced teaching approach–leading to a benchmark of education. We, students, all know that the teacher’s objective as a career is to train young minds not only on the 3Rs but even the development of worthwhile values. The teacher takes over the starring role of leading the young under his/her charge to become useful, upright and law-abiding member of society.

Campus Buzz

The Ear for College Students’ Community

Welcome back friends! This column is here once again to voice out your complaints and sentiments which you cannot express freely for whatever reason. This column is purely yours. The Philippine Humor school paper through its adviser has decided to alter the overhead title from “Campus Buzz to Campus Gossips and Rumors;” even though, some teachers and students requested to retain the former just to make it diverse, sui generis, and more emphatic in the eyes of the readers.

Yes! We listen to them but we have decided to alter its original title despite the plea. The contents and format of the publication remain the same. The freedom of speech must also prevail if the rights of the students and other people are deprived of. Our school paper sticks to its journalistic aphorism that “A free campus paper prefers to publish an issue and to let it be raised frankly and vehemently, without necessarily inviting any court suit for libel; as a result, it corroborates its school paper buoyancy as a veritable publication pillar that will hold up the inviolable right of the students to know the truth.”

We, the Editorial Board and Staff of The Philippine Humor school paper, have no intention to neither destroy one’s reputation nor defame one’s credibility by spreading damaging rumors against the person or even the school itself without bases. It so happens that said person is the choice and prey for such constructive animadversions.

Be careful! You might be caught by our inquirers connected to The Philippine Humor staffers. Who knows … you’ll be featured next on this paper.  Whoever is the prey for our “caught in the act policy approach” without malicious intent on the part of the victim, we express our profound apology. As the saying goes, “Nobody is above the law and nobody is exempted here even the staffers of said school paper.

By the way, all the messages sent through the internet are all reserved and picked out at random. Rights and names of the senders are all respected and protected – not to divulge their true identities for safety and for canons of journalism. – Humor Editor)

Everytime in school always has secrets; secrets about you or anybody, that is not a good thing.

Life consists of some ups and downs, but we should have courage during the down. We will not mind those persons who are against us, they might destroy our life just leave them behind.
