Chiang Kai Shek College Fbas: 70th Anniversary Video Presentation, a Review

As of May 2010, Jan Marcus Ang Tang of Chiang Kai Shek College is in the 2nd place of the top 10 colleges or universities that passed the CPA board exam with the high score of 92.86%. And as of December 2010, Chiang Kai Shek College has the 78% of rate score that passed the nursing board exam. Now, tell me why you should be proud to be a CKSCIANS?

Every CKSCIANS would say these various reasons why they patronize the first Chinese college founded in Manila:

1. The teachers are very competent and they know how to train their students to achieve excellence in character and skills.
2. The venue is very accessible. You can either ride a jeep, calesa or tricycle if you live nearby the school’s location. Or, you can just walk if you lived in two streets blocks away.
3. The time schedule is not that hectic because of the small student population. Other students can still find a sideline or part time job if they wanted to.
4. One student said that they believe in the standard of the education of CKSC because some alumni are top 10 CPA board passers and nursing board passers.
5. Speaking in Mandarin and Fookien can be trained here in Chiang Kai Shek College. 
6. Business related courses would push you to become a good decision maker. 
7. Staffs and professors are concerned with the welfare of the students.

My experience in Chiang Kai Shek College (I WILL JUST SAY IT ONCE NOT TWICE OR MORE):

In Chiang Kai Shek College-FBAS, there are some good people and bad people. They are like the other universities or colleges when it comes to the personalities of the students. I am just telling the truth. I already answered the question from my Psychology Professor in Chiang Kai Shek College when she first asked me in her class. But, there is a lot more.

Chiang Kai Shek College – FBAS has few gifted people who know how to care other loners like me. Then, they become my supporters. They guide me until I graduated from Chiang Kai Shek College. There comes the Peer Counseling Group and Thank God It’s Friday Bible Study Group.

Chiang Kai Shek College- FBAS’s professors are not looking for the “know-it-all” students. They wanted their students to become tough in the real world and become critical and creative thinkers. First, they would help the students to explore beyond the text books they read. That is why we have the feasibility projects, business strategic projects, and marketing strategic projects.

Chiang Kai Shek College – FBAS’s Accountancy, Finance, Business Math and Taxation professors would teach the students to appreciate the learning of numbers. When I have my first Accounting 102 and Accounting 304, I enjoyed computing the numbers. Being nerd is not bad but being ignorant with numbers is not cool.

Chiang Kai Shek College – FBAS’s Law and Logic professors would teach the students to discern wisely. Remember, if there is no critical thinking, there is no power. Learning is fun while you learn how to solve the problems on your own.

Chiang Kai Shek College – FBAS’s professors either in English or other major subject would train you to read English comprehensively. My counselor from Chiang Kai Shek College encouraged me to read self-help books. My Business Management professor criticized me in English speaking. But, I learn from them. Now, I am able to write blogs in Triond and earned income from writing blogs. I can also read self-help books to motivate me to become an effective individual.

Few of my relatives and family friends are surprised when they found out that I can speak in Fookien and understand Mandarin. That is because I learned that from Chiang Kai Shek College- FBAS.
