Developing in the Ways of Science

Why I think we should be trying to develop the more Scientifically related Studies relating in life.

It is true that the meaning of life does not only crop up in our head as we reach an older age range in our existence, but in fact it stays in our heads until the moment we die, probably more so towards the end, when we start to think, ‘what’s going to happen to us when the light turns off’.

It is also true that we have ways in which to live by, in means of religion, however we all know that they most probably derived from the myths that used to rule our living from many, many years ago. Now I am not saying that religion is such a bad thing, it gives good morals and views to our children, however I quite see it as deceiving our young budding lives into an imaginary world. In which again I might add I am not trying to rule out that there is an afterlife, a heaven and an hell, reincarnation etc , however these things are not factual. They have aroused from such stories and scriptures by which amalgamated at a time in which we cannot be sure in how, and why they came into existence.

We now have an absolutely wonderful thing called Science, at which we can explore the further meaning of life, and get answers to the unknown at which we derive our myths and religions from. Yes I know that a lot of Scientifically researched topics have already been undertaken, however there are a lot of un-answered questions at which require further research, and I am quite sure that there has been a lot of things that have been slightly overlooked. As in from one discovery, there are a lot of branches that can accumulate off of  the subject, creating its own sub subject so to speak, and so on and so forth. Yes this may mean a slightly more elaborative way of thinking at which some people may think they are not capable of, however the new schooling regimes are proving that this is truly not the case.

Schools are now teaching there pupils  new ways in which to learn so they can enquire into fundamentals of Science to whatever a degree, however clever they are, in more practical ways for some and in more memorable ways. I think this is a god send in some ways because it has enabled our society to progress mentally in ways that we thought in the previous times in history to be impossible. From then on it is a lot easier to further the knowledge by reading more literature in the subject, and watching such documentaries, creating notes and all in all just thinking of the subject in hand to a larger degree. If we all concentrated on furthering ourselves and our knowledge, instead of letting the government do the job then surely we would make a lot more progress then we already have, and accelerate in an absolutely phenomenal way. Now at this point I may be hastened to add that this is only my point of view, but I think it works alongside a lot of others, however they feel as if the scientifical world is not of theirs, however it is in fact the world we live in, we live in Science.

So I therefore think we should be trying to develop more in the ways of Science and understanding, I know that it is usually the case that with more knowledge becomes more un surety, however with Science it is all fact, so that cannot be the case in my mind, it can only let people think of the bigger picture. Surely there is more un certainty in religion? And with the factor of there being possibility of no after-life, a possibility of there not having a meaning of life so to speak, the meaning of life would be knowledge, of developing, evolving, not just standing still in some respects., and surely then people would try to accomplish all in which they wish to accomplish, because we may only have one life.

The meaning of life is certainly a complicated question. Science may be fact, but science does not solve all problems. Man can not stop an earthquake, or a volcano from erupting. Science may find solutions to many things, and invent all sorts of technologies, but it can’t cure the common cold.
Religion offers HOPE that there is a better life after this one. Maybe religion is not fact in some respects, but it is faith. It is a fact that thoughts exist, but no one has ever seen them to say they exist as fact. Sometimes what we don’t see as fact, still exists. Science is a great part of life, but it can also destroy life. The Atomic Bomb is proof of that.
We all question the meaning of life.
