Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Do you love animals? Do you consider animals as a part of your family? Are animals your passion? If all your answers to these questions are yes then you are fit and qualified to be a veterinarian.
A veterinarian is a doctor with a slight twist. He/she is a doctor of animals. A veterinarian’s focus is the welfare, development and well-being of all animals for the benefit of the society as a whole.
But in order for you to become an excellent and qualified veterinarian, you must first take up a course in college known as “Doctor of Veterinary Medicine”. It is in this course of study that one learns everything that he or she needs to know to be able to help the animal kingdom no matter what the problem is.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is a six year college course that deals with anything and everything related to the animal kingdom. The first two years are known as pre-veterinary years it is in these years that the most basics lessons are taught like algebra. After, one has to take a veterinary medicine qualifying exam to see if he or she is qualified to proceed further into the course. The next four years of veterinary medicine will focus only on one thing…Veterinary Medicine of course.
So if you think that you are meant to be a doctor of animals then go take up this course. Be one of the few to be the saviors of animals, not to mention the extremely high salary and demand for veterinarians in and out of the country.
