Education

In the world, having an education can help a person through out life. It allows them to venture out into the world and find themselves. It can also help a person financially because it allows them to find better jobs which pay more money. Finally, an education gives hope to the person that has it. All of these things are possible with the proper education. For me, an education means that I can have choices and allows me to have hope for my future.

An education allows me to have choices in my life. When a person has an education, that person can become anything they want. This means that I could get any job I want as long as I work hard towards it. I could become a doctor, a lawyer, or a veterinarian, as long as I have an education. While I get an education, people in other countries are not as fortunate. In South Africa, the children struggle to get an education so they can have choices of what they can do in the future. I’m lucky that I even have the chance to get an education so I can have options in the future. That is why an education allows me to have choices in life.

Having an education allows me to have hope for my future. With an education, a person can get a better job, which helps out in the future. The job would bring in more money, allowing me to be way better off, and I would be able to have a surplus budget. To have a surplus budget, which is when I make more then I spend, mean that I could put back money for problems in the future. All of this brings hope that I will always be prepared. Like in the video of Oprah’s Leadership Academy, the girls of South Africa only hoped for an education. This intensifies my thoughts on how education brings forth hope. Therefore, an education allows me to have hope for my future. 

In conclusion, an education is important to me because it gives me choices and allows for me to have hope for the future. An education is just one of the most important things a person can have. Without an education, it’s hard to find a job and also you don’t have a lot of choices. In this country, everyone should get an education because it’s always available. I bet if we brought some children from Africa to the United States the first thing they would do is register for a school. All of this is possible with the proper education.
