Education: A Requirement
Education is a basic necessity to an individual and the mankind at large.Individual growth and that of a nation are possible through proper teaching and training.
Education provides individuals the confidence to interact with oneself, one’s community, society and the global audience at large. An educated person is equipped with the correct tools to analyze and comprehend information to make knowledgeable, beneficial judgments.Education not only benefits the individuals but the community and the future generations as well. It helps to acquire the subject matter and basic knowledge for every day life. It uncovers the talents of a person, strengthening the determination to uplift and place oneself in this competitive world.
I am honored to be actively teaching for the past many years. My students of yester-years and today have a place in the society. Their knowledge helped and encouraged them to realize their potential and be a part of this business-oriented world. Many have proved to be good academicians, doctors, engineers and other reputed professionals. Education had brought in them an aura of dignity and wisdom.
Schooling and tutoring foster a new perspective of looking at life. It assists us in building opinions, have our views, get conversant with our knowledge and furthermore interpret the things we perceive. All the more education brings in a healthy competition among the fellow colleagues yielding to personal achievement and thus shaping up the country.
Education stimulates and encourages a person to think and look into contributing further to the transformation and refinement of ones personality. Personal challenges and persuasiveness plays the role of a catalyst in the development of the nation-state. The progression in the society reduces poverty and inequality laying down a strong foundation for sustained economic growth.
Our children have got the best of education. This has surely added to their personality. I see them respecting their culture and civilization with right behavior and good manners. Their teaching and schooling is instrumental in inculcating our values and virtues in them.
Education is an asset making an individual adaptable and competent to tolerance and orderliness. It liberates the person from the restraints and limitations of unawareness and confinement helping them to come out with their best.
Schooling and teaching are primary for women as well for they not only educate themselves but the whole family.
In the words of Albert Einstein: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learnt in school.”
Informal education which goes beyond schools and colleges sets outs openings for learning at home,at work and in the social group we move in.It flows in our daily life from the conversation and activities we are involved in.The back up of informal training encourages us to work in divergent fields taking difficult and challenging task.
Education cultivates the bud of intelligence of a person whilst enhancing their charismatic appeal.

A strongly awakening article that I feel should be read by people from both the 1st as well as 3rd world countries. Most of us think of education as just books where as this article reminds us of a very important aspect of education that society no longer considers relevant- Informal education. More than anything, i believe this article has one of those rare abilities to inspire people to believe in change for the greater good

An article well written and well intentioned. While the article displays your past experience at teaching what it exhibits more is your pathos you have developed during this process. Keep it coming…

All my thoughts have been eloquently summarised by Sandhya in her review, thanks to her. I wish to see a sequel to this article which gives real life examples of the argument to strengthen it, as well as to get the message across to the children of this age, who I think are the real target audience of this article.

well written article that encapsulates the true virtue of education.Education is a necessity by itself and not merely a a step for profitable economic avocation. An educated women lays the right foundation not only for herself but also for the next generation. Without education there will be only decadence. Very thoughtful and thought provoking article.

The right kind of education will lead one to strengthen their intellect. It is a pitty that today, knowledge and education have become hosts to various mindless rat-races in the society. Love your article! Very good & strong ideas! You should keep up the writing.
