Education Budgets Hacked and Slashed, Dooming The Future?

Many government officials when directing their energies through other matters, have decided to hack the education budgets, thus even further dismantling an already shaky support system for teachers. Will this be the worst blunder in the history of the United States?

The next few years will be a hard road for those who working in the field of education in the United States. Due to economic difficulties, there is less monetary support for education. The educational system, which has suffered for a number of years in many states, might not get any better. Yet with what people feel to be more pressing problems in the world, any reforms or improvements for education have been pushed to the back burner. It appears that there are many in power who despite words to the contrary, they think that education is not important.

Yet, it is one of the more important things in the world. Especially in a couple of generations, when there are not enough able instructors out there to fill the demand for education. There have been many signs of this over years, with many instructors, teachers, educators, feeling very under appreciated for what they have brought the table. Many great minds that could be used to enrich future generations of this world have been lost due to the lack of support for education.

In some states, education budgets are being hacked and slashed, leaving for schools scrambling for a way to keep afloat and one of the ways is to increase tuition. This will lead to an unfortunate effect where only those who have managed to be fortunate enough to be well off would be able to attend higher forms of education. In another generation or two, many people feel that you will need to start saving before your parents were born to hope to attend college and even lower forms of school that are required by law to attend will have book fees that are insane.

In the end education suffers, with able instructors being even fewer between with each passing year, with many of those who remain just out for a paycheck. This will lead to further people going into the educational field and fewer qualified teachers. This will only worsen with each passing generation and unless something is done, then there will be far more problems. In the end, how can you really expect the students to excel when the teachers are not able. And how are you able to expect the teachers to do well in teaching when the students are not doing well?

This problem has been overlooked in many ways in recent years, with the economic crisis and many people losing their jobs. However, without something done to reverse the problems in education, the next few generations are going to continue an ugly trend downwards in the United States. And if you can’t think that this cannot happen in other countries either eventually, then you’d be wrong. Perhaps it has already happened.

Without the proper support of education in the future, there will be no future.
