Education for All

Education in India.

Image via Wikipedia India is one of the poorest countries in the world. Do you know in India still 64% people are illiterate in which 56% are men and 76% are women?

Literacy helps in the development of a country and also its surrounding environment. Educated parents give better educated and healthier children. These mothers have a better understanding of the of the world than the illiterate mothers. An illiterate mother give birth to six or seven children in her lifetime but, university educated mother gives birth to one or two children.

Education is becoming costlier day-by-day and many people can’t afford it. Though government has started many schemes but they have not been fully implemented. The government should recheck its functioning.  The state with highest literacy rate has got highest voting in an election which was conducted in a survey.

Government should start awareness programs, campaigns’. Government should launch more schemes for betterment of people like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, NREGA, NFWP etc. Government schools should be set up.
