In spite of the recessionary conditions, there are always sectors which grow even during these times. One of the most publicised ones is the health sector with the share prices of pharmaceutical companies not showing any signs of decline. Well another sector is the education sector, which is one of the evergreen sectors and recession or no recession, education will always be there.

India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world with a growth rate of 8% p.a, which not many countries are able to match today. And education is one sector in which a huge gap exists in the country and a huge potential exists.

India is a land of opportunities and it is said that the consumption of the country will quadruple by 2025. Also by 2025 293 million people will be lifted above poverty line and the middle class will consist of 583 million people. 

Regarding education, there is a huge gap between the demand and supply of the education providers available. Thus this brings in a huge opportunity. Also the present education providers are not well equipped for employability of the new and upcoming fields. The traditional fields have always dominated the field like Engineering, doctors or accountancy.

There also exists opportunity for coaching in various aspects like career development, or upgradation of skills etc and there is a huge demand for such services. The upcoming middle class boosts the demands of such services.

Thus now is the right time to invest in such sectors as education in India, where even the regulatory rules are slowly being relaxed by the government and a huge opportunity exists.
