English Games That are Fun for Kids

ESL Students love to play English Games and the description game is especially fun for kids.
Level: Young to older students.
Time duration: 15 minutes to half an hour.
Game Variation: Instead of using pictures you could write down words instead. The ESL Students will then have to read the individual words instead of describing pictures.
Procedure: Firstly you have to split the students up into two teams and assign them team names. After that take one student from each team and stand them in front of the whiteboard Then you’ll need to show each member a picture of something. You could show them a picture of a car for example.
The student now has to describe what the picture is to the other ESL Students using only English. The first team to guess what the student is describing and call out the correct answer will get a team point.
English Games are especially useful for helping ESL Students pick up the language. The are also fun for kids and will create a fun atmosphere in your classroom.
