Future of The Underdeveloped Countries

There will be a different kind of colonization…

There are only a few countries in the world where resources are surplus and even if they have to survive without external help, they can do so. The gap between the developed and underdeveloped countries is widening so rapidly that one is forced to believe that the future will be bleak in the backward countries.

People from most of the underdeveloped countries go abroad to look for work, and they have been doing it for decades, but in the past few years there seems to be a kind of pause because the developed countries are facing economic crisis. If the population of the world keeps on growing at the present rate, I am sure that there will be a war of a very different kind: the poor will start looting the rich, not only in the third world countries but also in the advanced countries.

It seems that in future some countries will be forced to bow economically before their more powerful neighbors to survive. The growth rate in underdeveloped countries is almost negligible and the neighbors are progressing by leaps and bound.

I would like to cite the example of Nepal. Industry is impossible to survive in this beautiful mountainous countries.Finance is sought from abroad to start a new industry, machines are imported, technicians and engineers are not locally available, raw material must be imported. In these circumstances one can hardly imagine that Nepal can ever compete with its immediate neighbors in the production of goods which she can export to earn foreign currency.

Many African countries are in dire state and the survival is almost impossible. They are expecting the rich western countries to hold their hand to take them along. If the rich come to help the poor, they will dictate their terms, and then there will be economic colonization. Israel has been a kind of slave to United States of America for so many decades, whether they accept it or deny it, it is quite evident that they can’t survive without American help.

The monster of hunger and environmental calamities will compel many underdeveloped countries to bow before the dollar gods.

God save the poor.
