I have decided to go back to school too. After having paid back an old loan, it is time to renew my acquaintance with the books maybe take a masters in English Literature or do something to get back into the health field. It might even be something environmental. The reasons for change are my boredom at doing the same teaching for many, many years, the need to learn more and the need to improve the quality of my life.

I was inspired by the sister of my brother-in-law who went back to school to do a masters in social work and become a guidance councillor. I was also inspired by the story behind Mary Higgins the authoress who began writing late in life and by a lesser known individual a Mr. Pescineri in Trieste who I found studying medicine after he had already obtained a degree as a naval engineer in Naples. All these people are inquisitive enough to affront their lives and mould their own futures with conviction.

When I learned to study in a foreign language and live far away from home, that helped me see life differently, that the human being can always learn and that does not mean it has to be a state run university or organized study; it could very well be a workshop honing your skills as an actor or learning how to use your technical skills to apply your visual art for web development.
