Many parents have trouble teaching a kid to learn. It can be quite frustrating at some times, but just keep going. The main problem is you guys do have enough patience. You can solve this with some easy steps:

1. Cool down before you talk to the kid
2. Try to get a good start
3. Do not tell them to do something if you just got angry at them. This will make them hate you.
4. Make sure he/she sits up straight, or his not paying attention.
5. Make sure you are not to lenient or they will disrespect you.
6. When you start try to make some creative way to make the laugh. This will make them remember.
7. Don’t get angry it will create tension!
8. Just keep going!
