How to Make Your School Life Easier
The article is for high schoolers like me who has returned or will return to school, especially for those who complain about their teachers. If you don’t like your teachers, read this article. It provides some alternative ways to look into the matters. The language may be a little offensive, but the points are very clear.
Sometimes if you can change the way you think about your teachers, your life in school would be much easier.
When I went to the school on the registration day, I saw a lot of depressed people who were complaining about their timetables. When I was waiting in the cafeteria to get my timetable, I heard my friend wailing beside me
“Oh, my god! Why do I have this goddam teacher again?”
Without any hesitation, my friend rushed to the guidance department and asked to change his teacher.
“Can you believe it?” said my friend, who went to Tim Hortons with me after he picked up the timetable changing sheet, “I am gonna have that goddam teacher again!”
Enjoying my Boston cream and ice tea, I said nonchalantly, “So what?”
“So what? I hate the teacher!”
“Why do you hate him?” asked I.
Can you guess what he was about to say?
“He sucks!” said my friend
This is what I expected to hear
“He gave me freaking low mark last year,” continued my friend, “and if I have him again, my mark is gonna be dragged down to hell and my entire Grade 11 year would be ruined by him!!”
Everyone in Tim Hortons was staring at him because he was screaming in the way that you would do when you watch The Sleepy Hollow.
Ok. Here’s the thing. If you have similar situations, please continue reading because I might throw some light upon your problems with the teachers that you hate.
If you ask those grumbling students why they think their teachers suck, the students might say one of the followings:
1. “The teacher gives me an extremely low mark” (which is what my friend said)
2. “The teacher always picks on me”
3. “The teacher never taught.”, or “the teacher doesn’t know how to teach.”
4. “I just don’t like my teacher”
And you can add on to the list.
However, all of these explanations are, in my opinion, extremely ridiculous and unreasonable.
