Interesting article. I remember in my college they used the traditional mic and speakers, but now with this Madonna Mic, hopefully it'll look elegant and neat.

Actually, our local primary schools have been using this sort of system on a limited basis for a number of years now and have reported great success. It's not only helpful for hearing impaired students (I think that was why it was set up in the first place), but also has proven highly beneficial to ADHD and learning disabled students. It's a fabulous innovation.
Superb article! This is very interesting given your presentation of it. My guess is it is wireless to a receiver that outputs to hidden speakers. It is a tremendous technology innovation. So well presented Lucy and thank you for it.

It sounds very interesting Lucy, I know in my financial class my professor frequently includes our names in the lectures to make sure we are paying attention. Although at times embarrassing it's affective.

The teachers have a tough job for sure! we seem to have an epidemic of school aged kids not listening, using their voices and distracting others that want to learn. This might also be wonderful for the hearing impaired kids.
