Loans for International Students
Informs the readers about various loan opportunities which are available for studying here in the United States thus helping them to make appropriate choices and plans for their education.
It is a fact that college education in the United States right now is very expensive not only for international students but also to American citizens, many of whom, graduate with huge mounts of debt which take years to be repaid. Many international students come here to the States usually get scholarships, but the scholarships do not tend to cover everycost of their education. With the current economic recession, very many colleges and universities which greatly funded international students have cut back the funds as they have no money and thus international students are left to depend entirely on their parents money.
Fortunately, American banks are now giving student loans to international students which are repaid within a period of between 10-15 years depending on the amount of money borrowed. All one needs is an American citizen or permanent resident who is willing to cossign the loan for them. This is good news to some international students but not all as very many international students do not have access to American cossigners and this makes it very hard to secure a loan from a bank. The Global Loan Student Corporation is the only organization that offers loans to student and does not require an American cossigner, but a cossigner in the students home country. This organization has greatly helped very many international students who would otherwise not have afforded an American education. Some schools like ,Mit, Harvard, Stanford and the University of Chicago are now cossigning loans for international students. For those with cossigners, sallimae, Wachovia and Morgan Chase are offering loans to international students.
