Logic, Logic, Logic..
Nothing beats learning about logic in school. Period.
Logic can be used in court cases to save a person that people could consider guilty. Even if there is a lot of evidence against the defendant, if the defendant’s lawyer knows how to spot logical fallacy in that evidence, they can easily disprove all the evidence, and save their client.
But does anyone really use logic anymore? I mean, I can easily go by lying to a teacher that I was not the one who did some crap to a freshman and they will believe me. Yet the fish has his locker full of crap without the culprit caught.
Using logic is just something of the past nowadays. If there is something highly controversial on the web about getting rich fast, people are on it as fast as possible, no matter how stupid it is. All they think about is how they will benefit from it. But they don’t think about the possible side effects, such as losing their money on a worthless product.
Something that seems logical, but isn’t because of circumstances or evidence is called a logical fallacy. You see this kind of stuff everyday in grocery stores, magazines, and even the internet.
Most people only look at the good side/the more supported side rather than the logical side because of the fact that everyone is selfish. If they see something that interests them, they immediately jump into it without considering what could be the backlashes. These “benefits” they see are often cardstacked, or in terms of logic, only the good/supported sides of something are used in an argument to convince someone to do something.
Everyone falls for this kind of stuff. But most of the time, it works out so that you are happy. Sometimes, however, you can get seriously ripped off. If you want to, you can keep on getting ripped off, but if I were you, I wouldn’t like that.
Ignoring logical fallacies might not be very severe in the world of the market, but it can be in life. So if you don’t want to get ripped off, you would want to always find some form of logical fallacy. Right?
Wrong.
Why?
You’ll find out in the next article in the series.

Good point. As a team debater I’ve never had logic fail me.
