CLAT [Combined law admission test] was started in the year 2008. This exam is conducted for getting admission ti to Top 11 national law universities of India. These universities are best like IIT. They are unique and best in their studies, Infrastructure, Internship and off course in providing placements.
The students who wants to pursue law this is the best place. There are only 1100 seats. Out of which only 500 seats are available for General category candidates. The exam is easy as well but getting admission is tough as the competition is at all India level. This article is an ultimate guide to prepare yourself for CLAT 2011 for 5 years law degree course.
The clat 2011 paper will be prepared by NUJS kolkata, which is ranked 4th among 11 universities.
1].First you must ensure that you are below 20 years of age. If you really made your mind to study in Top national law Universities then you have to work hard. Join some coaching institute which will prepare you for CLAT. There are many institutes offering coaching for CLAT. Some best coaching institutes are Career launcher, shri ram institute. IMS, Universal Institute of legal studies. Join mock tests if you can’t afford the coaching fees.

The habit of reading newspaper not only improve your General knowledge but also horn up your skills of English. You will learn the language in depth. That is very important. Making notes of current knowledge will help you a lot.
3].Read monthly magazines of current affairs. The best monthly magazines you must read are pratiyogita darpan and competition success review. Monthly magazines will make you an expert in the field of general knowledge
4].Write articles in any best website. Also read the articles of others. The more you write and read the more you become master in language. And for a law graduate this is really very important task. You can write articles any where. Some sites I would recommend is Triond, Boddunan, squidoo etc.
5].Some books which are very important for the preparation. for General knowledge- read Pearson, Lucien and Tata McGee’s. For legal knowledge- Nexis and lexis. For legal aptitude- your coaching material is more than sufficient. For Constitution of India- P.M.Bakshi. For Logical reasoning- Rs.agarwal. For mathematics you can purchase R.s agarwal but the coaching material is more than sufficient.
