Online Courses

Information non-profit organization that offers lectures online for free. These institutions are also collaborating with leading universities and institutes around the world. The aim is to provide access to higher education and quality throughout the world. These institutions are:

Coursera (www.coursera.org)

Coursera built by two professors from Stanford University and is currently working with 33 universities around the world, including the California Institute of Technology, Brown University, Princeton University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Columbia University. Currently Coursera opened 195 classes in 15 categories (Biology & Life Science, Business & Management, Computer Science, Economics & Finance, Education, Electrical Engineering & Materials, Food & Nutrition, Health-Safety & Medical Ethics, Humanities and Social Sciences , Information-Technology & Design, Mathematics, Medicine, Music-Film & Audio Engineering, Physical & Earth Sciences, Statistics-Data Analysis and Scientific Computing). Upon completion of the course, coursera also provide a certificate stating that we have completed the classes we take and signed by the professor in question.

EDX (www.edx.org)

EDX is a joint institute initiated by the Massachusets Instutte of Technology and Harvard University. University of California at Berkeley recently also joined as a partner EDX. EDX open 7 classes in teaching by experienced professors and lecturers of the three top universities in the U.S. that.

Udacity (www.udacity.org)

Udacity is a private educational organization founded by Sebastian Thrun, David Stavens, and Mike Sokolsky, in an effort to realize a democratic education. Udacity also working with faculty instructors and professors from leading universities in the United States. Classes in Udacity is divided into 3 parts, namely Courses Beginning, Intermediate Courses, and Advanced Courses. The classes offered are generally associated with Computer Science and Information Technology.

Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org)

Khan Academy is indeed phenomenal. Bill Gates just to say that this site has helped her in doing his work. Indeed, unlike the three previous organizations, Khan Academy is intended to help us understand the homework or school assignments and lecture us, so such a free private lessons at any time. From the start of algebra, immunology, opportunity cost, art history, until the university entrance test preparation such as GMAT and Singapore Math’s all there.
