Hence teachers can influence the youth of a culture in a way no one else can. Teachers have the honorable responsibility of education. Students develop mentally, socially, and ethically within the realm of academic education.

The philosophical perspective possessed by a teacher has on affects the ability and effectiveness of their teaching methods. Therefore a teacher must be one who appreciates and respects education and formalized schooling. If a child is placed in a positive environment, then it will help shape them into good citizens. According to Plato, a student’s environment determines his or her morals and character. It is very important for children to be able to function in society and to learn to interact well with other people; providing a positive learning environment plays a crucial role in instilling these characteristics. If all teachers would stress these concepts these would likely help students become more confident in learning.

However if a negative perception is given to individuals on education, this can result to loss of confidence and lose interest in what they are working to accomplish. This can often results to cases such as dislike in learning to participate in class, discouraging reading and writing. Moreover students can develop a fear of learning. Therefore it is teachers’ to make its best effort to keep the students interested in what they are doing. Numerous activities should be provided so that the students can get involved with their learning in many different ways. One example can be to vary class lessons once a week. Instead of sticking to one method of teaching, teachers can make use of games to teach something in class.
