Reading One Entire Book a Day Every Day
by I came up with a tough challenge, to read an entire book a day, some with more than 400 pages, and all of them of the highest quality. Can accomplish such task?
Reading is one of my greatest passions and I devote at least three hours per day reading. Since I am an university student studying management for my MBA, reading is a must have skill to be successful and I practice my reading with books about topics I love.
How do I read one book a day? First you need to have the best pdf reader you can find. Adobe Reader X is currently the best you can get. The screen size is amazing plus you can skip pages with the page down button. This is many times better than using the hand feature because it takes longer and you need to devote a lot of time and attention centering the image for the best reading, the page down button simply skips the page and allows you to continue reading immediately.
Second, you need to find a website with free books. The best site is the Project Guttemberg because it has thousands of free books, actually “Project Gutenberg offers over 36,000 free ebooks to download to your PC” most of them about old topics, but you can always find a good romance to glue your eyes to for a few hours. There is another way, see the best selling book about a subject you are particularly passionate about and buy it.
Start a blog and write a resume about what you read. Don’t leave it for when you end reading, instead write as soon as you read a page, resume that page, say using your own words what you have just read. If your blog becomes a success you can turn your hobby into a profession or at least make money with advertisements!
My goal is to be able to read 10 books a day. Some say it is such a crazy goal but knowledge is the only thing that separetes us from the gods so the more you read the more godlike you become. Don’t you believe it? See how your entire life changes every time you learn something. Do you know to make money writing?
