Respecting a Teacher: It DOES Have an Impact on Your Life
Have you ever taken your teachers for granted? Have you ever decided to just act rudely to them? Well, did you know that acting so can make a large impact on your life? It can. Read more to find out why.
Respect is a very basic and straightforward moral that people often do not follow. Although we are not aware of it, by not showing respect towards others, we are emotionally hurting them. Each day, teachers all over the world are treated by their students with disrespect. Teachers make so many sacrifices for their students, yet they are not given the treatment that they deserve. If all young people that learn from their superiors treated them with the kindness and respect they deserved, they would be more productive in their studies, learn how to be better people in the outside world, and become fine examples and role models for other young people.
By respecting a teacher, one would excel further in their schoolwork. Our future is greatly depended on what we learn in school. When a student respects their teacher, the teacher’s “window of opportunity” to educate the student grows, and the student is able to absorb more knowledge. The students that respect their teachers learn more, and in result, have a better and brighter future. Some may think that only the one respecting their teacher will benefit, but the whole world benefits as well.
Morals are developed when people are at a young age. When a person is sent out into the real world, there is a possibility that they might forget what they have learned as children. The important morals, one of which is respect, are used daily out in the world of adults. When someone respects others on a day-to-day basis, the kind act becomes engraved into their mind, and they use it for the rest of their life. When one respects another person, that other person will feel appreciated, just as teachers feel appreciated when they are respected by their students. This feeling brings people joy and happiness, so it is only right that we share that feeling with all people. As respecting others will bring them positive feelings, it will also teach others to be respectful.
Children follow what their elders do. It is a natural instinct for them. If we act respectful, the younger ones will imitate our acts of kindness. In order to pass on good habits to all generations, we must exemplify those good habits to young people. The children will learn that respecting others is a good thing to do. They will learn new subjects more, make others in the world experience positive emotions, and show other kids to be respectful as well.
All of these possibilities have one common denominator. It all starts when we respect our teachers. Only by respecting the wondrous and God-sent people that guide us and allow us to take in knowledge will the next generations be able to follow in our footsteps.

As a former teacher I salute you. So much class time is wasted on classroom management that it is hard to get through the curriculum. The stress level of the teacher also impacts the students. So give the teacher a break and let her/him do her job!

I really value learning, I have utmost respect for my teachers/instructors all throughout my school year until i graduated college. I agree with this, it does have an impact in your life. I recently bumped with my former instructor it is so good to see that something in my instructors eyes when you tell her you already have your dream job, and thanks so much to her for her shared knowledge, i learned so much from her..
