Rich People are “Different”
The sociopath behavior of the Rich.
.
I grew up in a blue collar neighbor hood. When a neighbor fell on hard times all the other neighbors pulled together to helped out. We had empathy for each other. I noticed a big difference when I lived in a professional neighbor hood. Everyone wanted to outdo each other and seemed to take great pleasure in other people’s failure.
a study by Adam Waytz and Nicholas Epley, professors at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago, respectively, found that people with more social connections are more likely to dehumanize others. That rich people are less likely to feel empathy. What is it about money that turns some people into Sociopaths (a psychiatric condition in which a person manipulates, exploits, or violates the rights of others. This behavior is often criminal.) Is it the fact that the parents showed more interest in obtaining money and ignored their children, giving them things instead of their time and attention which all children crave.
Another study by the National Academy of Science found that rich people are more likely to lie, cheat, endorse unethical behavior at work, and cut off pedestrians while driving. Isn’t that sad?
They say the love of money is the root of all evil and from what I see I guess it’s true
