Scholarship Application Process: On-line to Snail Mail Applications for Universities

This describes the long and tedious for apply for scholarships and that it like winning the lottery.

 (14) Some scholarship applications you need to set up a website for them and they grade you on the website and information put on the website.

 (15) Your local community may have scholarships like for us we live in Montgomery County but since I work in Exton Pa. which is West Chester County Shawn cannot apply to West Chester because she does not live in that county.

 (16) We look at her Pottstown High School website and they had a page dedicated to scholarships you can download and apply too as long as you fit their qualifications.

The application process is tedious. It is cumbersome and you have to keep up with your child in writing the essays and proof reading and make sure they stick to the topic. Plus getting the transcripts from the guidance office and the references. Double check before you snail mail it out that everything is included. If you are missing one item it will be rejected no excused are allowed.

One website said for every ten applications you apply for you should win one. (My opinion Shawn sent out 10 already and we plan on doing more we will see plays out to be true statement).

The scholarship amounts can range from $500.00 to $10,000 depending on the company or who is sponsoring the scholarship.

Note: when doing online applications make sure you grammar is correct because sometimes once it is sent you cannot retrieve back.
