S.E.A.L. Class: Can They Compare Themselves to a Private School?

Select Entry Accelerated Learning Classes, are they worth it?

The Australian government is now creating certain schools to have a special select entry class, which are one year ahead of the average class. They seem to be a substitute for private schools, but students are still placed in a government school, not a expensive private school.

Is this the future way for people to became academically successful, are they not going to try to teach the unacademically gifted? I thought that private schools took care of that, and now the public education system is trying to do that as well?

I hope that the government try to create a more balanced school system, as most schools only allow Year 7 to start the advancement class. They should allow spots for when the students flunk class, allowing the correct people to be in the correct class.

Thank you for reading my report, and hopefully the government will change something about it.
