Seat Belts in School Buses

About why we do not have seat belts in our school buses.

The new school year has begun! First let me say, “Thank You God that the kids are back in school!” This is about seat belts in our school buses that would protect the most precious people we have. So why do we not have seat belts in school buses? Is it because it is to expensive to have them put in? Is it possible that the schools do not believe that they are responsible for the children when they ride to and from school or to school events? The school and the officials that regulate these rules state that the school bus is that the greater weight and mass of a school bus means that passengers are less vulnerable in a school bus than in an automobile, and they sit above the usual point of impact. I wonder if they have taken into account that most of those kids – even though they are suppose to – do not always stay in there seats and do not always face forward but lean over the seat talking to the kids behind them. I understand that most government policies only look at perfect conditions. Makes you wonder if any of those people have children or nieces and nephews?
