Self-education Techniques

Self-education is popular again for many. Here are some self-education guidelines.

Many of us know the intellectual and metaphysicals of the Jewish people because of their texts, and their efforts to translate this intelligence and metaphysicals into the material world, nevertheless there are areas of traditional Jewish intelligence and metaphysics that have yet to be translated into materialism. This is true also of Indians from India and other “colored” ethnics. Those who who have Jewish or Indian intellectual and metaphysical teachers–including non-Jews and non-Indians learn often how to recognize this knowledge and wisdom directly without its translation into materialism. Others must await the material proofs. Hence, the Zen Masters (of various metaphysical traditons).

Many intellectuals and metaphysicals have teachers and many metaphysicals are self-educated and/or a combination of both.

African American intellectual and metaphysical traditions have been greatly influenced by African, Indian, Jewish and other traditions. The Jews because when many of the Jews escaping the holocaust came to American and found that anti-semitism prevented them from teaching in Aryan colleges and universities were welcomed by African Americans as “great teachers” in their universities. Africans in American had no problem recognized the Jewish people as the “great teachers.” This, even though we acknowledge anti-black sentiments among the Jews and anti-semitic sentiments among the blacks. People will be people, as they say.

Blacks of a certain generation personally met the great teacher Albert Einstein and learned from him. Many of us don’t yet know in the material world how blacks have made use of that knowledge, although there are African physicists and mathematician, and Africans have made a contribution to these areas that are not necessarily recognized in our schools. Africans like Jews are often prevented from translating their intellectualism and metaphysics into the material world. This is for many reasons, and a subject for study by those with more wisdom in these areas than myself.

Intellectuals and metaphysicals, including the self-taught, might be required to self-publish their intellectual and metaphysical writings so that these traditions continue. These traditions should also be include in the popular texts and the popular creativity. Many Jewish filmmakers for example often try to include their intelligence and metaphysical in popular form. Sometimes critics recognize the intellectual and metaphysical traditions, othertimes they just recognize the popular, which is often atuned more to the needs of the material world because of the nature of many of the popular mediums and their connections with finance and money-making.

Those who write on these topics are often self-educated and/or they combine their formal education with their self-education.

Students in the school systems often have problems in learning because they do not know the techniques for self-education. For many subjects they must learn how to learn from a teacher and also how to combine teacher learning with teaching themselves. Often you have children state that they never had a teacher to teach them various subjects. For these subjects they must teach themselves if necessary.

Home schools should also teach self-education techniques.
