Serious Education

            Many are well aware that the world  in which we live will not endure.  In this troublous times, when even wealthy are reeling from the economic downturn with the rest of the world. Many are cognizant, too, of the fact that man’s life, including his professions, wealth, honor, wisdom and power are fleeting. I know it is true but I was absolutely wrong the way I understand it and created a tremendous negative overview to myself about life in the future. I asked myself why should I spent my time in gaining earthly knowledge if those will become useless at the end because of the worlds present condition. I felt I’m in a middle of a vast desert, I could only see those endless horizon and no one can point me to the light direction. All these changed when I entered these course.

            The present status of our nation gives me an inspiration to create a change especially in education. If these nation will composed of educated and product citizens, there is no reason to be afraid, even if we are hindered by economic downturn. All of these will start in educating our minds. The teaching profession is very crucial compared to the other profession because this will involve in building a better nation As the saying goes, if an engineer commit mistakes, buildings and bridges will fall if a doctor commit mistakes, precious life maybe lost, if a teacher commit mistakes, nations will fall. The significant role of this profession is to build a person especially in molding their personality and behavior but also in imparting knowledge in order to become a productive citizens.

            What philosophy should I use? The five are very important in educating the young minds? All I need is to use it equally and effectively so that it will serves as a strong scaffolding to develop their learnings, as well as in shaping their personality and behavior. Whatever happens to them in this word of turmoil they will stand by their own feet and continue to go on as a productive citizens in this nation. TI hope that they will hold this perception that when the pendulum swings in the education, that is, when new concepts are developed, it has a tendency as far away as possible from traditional practices.
