Should Students Have to Pay Fee’s for School?
My protest letter about school fee’s.
I have read the new community classroom rules and I strictly disagree with it. Students should not have to pay to use classroom accessories such as desks, papers and pencil sharpeners. America is a very unique country and one of its great aspects of it is free education, applying these rules would make it lose its contribution. Students should not be charged at school because parents are already getting their low income drained from taxes and the economy is in poor condition. There is nothing more important to the modern world than education. Education gives students opportunities to serve their country and paying for education lowers the amount of students ready to discover new things. I, as a student, have though this matter over and created a couple of other options to meet these expenses. My first though was more fundraisers. Fundraisers help make money for schools and I think is very effective. Activities like dances and shows also help make a couple extra dollars so students don’t have to pay for school. My second thought was to make more use of our papers. We should start using both sides of the paper so we don’t have to buy as much paper. We should also use only black ink on our papers because with the economy these days ink prices are out of the roof. My last idea is that desks should be reused. It only takes a couple of wipes and desks look brand new. Why buy new desks every year, it eats up money and doesn’t really affect anything. You should also plan community service events where people would come to the school and clean it up instead of having to hire people to do it. I have given you some of my ideas about this problem and I hope you take it into consideration. If you do not agree I am sorry to say I will not follow the rules. Schools should be nonprofit organizations all over the world.
