South Carolina Neighbors Fight

Seventy people marched down the street in protest of one thing.  That one thing is in the yard of Annie Chambers Caddell and the thing is the Confederate flag.

Annie Chambers Caddell has put the flag in her yard to show her southern heritage and some of the people of the neighborhood see the flag as slavery and racism.  

I think everyone should be able to show off part of their heritage without being harnessed.  Neighbor Patterson James built a solid eight foot wooden fence to hid the flag from his sight.  Yes, that is his right.

What did Annie Chambers Caddell do?  She had the flag moved higher into the sky ,so that the flag can be seen over the fence.

What is next?  Is the flag and fences going to continue until they can be seen from space?

I think it is the right of everyone to display things that are part of their family without being harnessed or threatened.   If you don’t like the sight of the flag shut your curtains on that part of your house cause now the fight is being broad casted over the Internet.  You have drawn more attention to something you don’t like.  Should I say “Congulation’s!”

I would just like to remind everyone of the old saying “United we stand and Divide we fall!”
