St. John’s Beats Duke, 93-78

St. Johns upset Duke, yesterday, after beating them 93-78 in Madison Square Garden. This is Duke’s second loss this season; the first was against Florida State. The iron was unkind to Duke throughout the entire duration of the game. Their three-point field goal percentage illustrated that Duke never had their A-game. St. John’s became more aggressive in the second half as they started to commit more fouls. After margins of 30 points in the score at times, Duke was able to decrease the margin to only 15, but still wasn’t enough to seal the deal. Majority of the time, Duke received their points through free throws; they had a pretty bad field goal percentage. 

This game was devastating for Duke, but they continue for high hopes as still having only 2 loses.
