Talkative Teacher

I am talkative – that says it all.

A lot of people tell me that I am quite a talkative person, then I think to myself, what better way to channel my innate talkativeness than teaching…  I had always looked up to teachers, not only that most of my relatives from my grandmother, mother, aunts and uncles had been or are teachers, but also because I had the chance of getting to know great teachers from kindergarten to college and I would want to become a teacher that has a great impact on my students just as some of my teachers had placed a great impact in my life and in how I deal with circumstances and situations that I encounter.  I would want to be that teacher that even at old age, my students will remember me even if I have long gone to eternity.  I want to be that teacher who helps her students become better members of society.  I will be that teacher who changes lives and impacts students’ minds to stay away from being ignorant and blind.  I don’t just want to teach them lessons in English, literature and the humanities, I want to teach them lessons in life… Or even inspire them to become teachers themselves just as my college professors inspired me to become one, and the cycle would continue, a teacher inspiring his student to become a teacher and that teacher inspires even one or two of her students to become teachers themselves.  By then, the world would not stop having teachers who help in changing lives and who push their students to become the best that they can be.
