Teachers Gone Wild
Sexual scandals in the school house.
Lately there have been a lot of cases of sexual assault on students by teachers; mainly in spring. First of all, whose fault it is. It’s easy to blame the teacher because most of the time these teachers are married with children and you think that they would know better. When you are a teacher it can be easy to manipulate even high school students. You can promise good grades and a student could be putty in your hands.
Advanced Kids
A lot of people don’t understand how a 16-17 year old could be manipulated, but fellow students like me understand. Kids these days are advanced in the way they go about things. Students like this can very easily get a teacher to have sex with them believe it or not. It’s even better when that teacher has nobody in their life and somebody
Step up and shows her some compassion. Ask any student (males especially) and they could tell you the way they would go about having an affair with a teacher … trust me.
Prevention
To be honest there is no way u can prevent these kinds of things from happening. Most people say background checks. The only problem with that is a teacher could look great on paper but behind closed doors they could be a stone cold freak. Many people are like that. In fact, the person sitting next to you could be sex offender but you could never know by looking at him (if you can tell you might want to move.) Many people live secret lives and teachers are no exceptions.
Why?
This message is just for the teachers. Ask yourself this… is it worth it? Common sense should tell you “hey, this decision could ruin my career.” That thought alone should make you stop doing what you’re doing. And then there’s that little place called jail that I heard was pretty bad too. Now im not telling you to cheat, but if you are, at least do it with someone your own age. Leave the youth alone. Just teach the class then when you leave the school, do what you want. Just not with us.

It is sad that some people make these kinds of choices, but it does happen. We have to protect our children any way we can. Good article.
