The Love is Gone:

I see it everyday. 

It is on the faces of the teachers. 

It is in the eyes of the students. 

The love is gone. 

The love of learning. 

The excitement of reading and writing. 

The joy of learning history and science. 

Where has it gone? 

The emphasis on tests has killed our kids love of education. 

It has killed our teachers love of teaching.  It is sad to see. 

Will it change?  I don’t know and that scares me.

I emplore those in charge to help bring the love of learning back into our classrooms before we lose our children and teachers forever.
