The Source of All Knowledge

About the foundational qualities that every person needs to see.

Language is the direct result of accessing knowledge that others have. Language allows thinking and problem solving. After our infancy we learn language and along with skills to communication our brains grow. Another result of accommodation. After our brains develop enough to converse eloquently, we subsequently are knighted with thinking. Thus comes thinking, and then comes the solving. As the world’s problems are growing smaller due to past passing by, why is it that we still are growing a culture worse than the one before? The reason is that education has far exceeded is expiration. What I mean is that the educational system needs a complete reformation. There are schools that are teaching that we came from monkeys and there is no mention of God. I don’t mean to be bias but everyone has a stand point. The problem is that there is the teaching of the wrong information. We may eventually learn from this but in all matters of fact during these sessions we could have learned so much more. That is where problem solving comes in. I could probable write a book on this topic. It really basically just came into my mind, but imagine a school where all they taught was knowledge. Not fish food from the dumb -excuse my language. There will come a day and I promise you a day to remember when everything we say or do will be accounted for, and then we may realize the right way. I believe there is a right way to do everything; it is just a matter of finding the right source of knowledge. And by this I mean God.

There is a study that the more we learn easier it is to learn. For instance if I practice doing something different everyday, like brushing my teeth with the opposite hand then I will eventually learn better. It seems to be a very complex think this learning, but God made it simple. Learn and you shall learn. Language is a tool to conduct interactions and understand the world.

Applications to teaching are a needed skill to learn. With knowledge comes the responsibility to share. The basic learning context should be culturally authentic. What is meant is that we should be constantly adjusting our learning to the newest cultural developments. With new advancements comes the responsibility to learn. Learning should be associated with social interaction. We need to learn from others. So the best we can relate and communicate the better the outcome totality. We must learn and teach our students to socialize. Beyond just communication but intimate companionships are essential. Also, the better we are at speaking the better we are at explaining. So the next step comes in learning how to explain. The basic approach is to learn the most words you can for application. If you lack the ability to explain yourself, you lack the ability to spread knowledge, and are a step away from teaching. Next, provide assistance to promote learning. For instance don’t just say you are going to learn set aside accommodations for learning. Like a book group or study center. And to even incorporate techniques that require the reaction of socialization is great. For instance have an activity where the learners must react with a person who has a set of skills they don’t have. And in the process they will learn that they need others to learn, also called proximal development. Another technique is scaffolding. Scaffolding is where a child is to complete a task that they cannot complete without assistance. The best way to do that is to model. Think out loud. Ask questions. Adapt instruction materials. Prompt and cue your students.

Along with a bandwagon of responsibility to socialize as a person there is an internal obligation to learn and teach. Whenever there is knowledge there is responsibility. Along with responsibility comes capability. If we are to become capable of any task or issue, maybe even life, we must relate. Lev Vigotsky may have a few leads on us, but that doesn’t mean we have to be behind. Take a step forward beyond his step.
