The Value of History and Literature in Relation to The Value of Math and Science

It has been stated by many great persons of science and literature that all the fields of knowledge can be shared into four main categories: history, literature, math and science. With a closer look to that categorization we can produce a more compact one as we can put history and literature in one category and math and science into another. All of them are of certain importance for a person’s education.
To begin with history and literature, they contribute in our mental wealth and also the study of them broadens our mind. To be more specific, I will firstly refer to literature alone. Study of literature improves our way of expression and indirectly help us to gain experience if what we read is a story. Moreover it could act as a friend and a company in lonely hours and many times the appropriate reading may give answers in ones problems. History concerned, it is of much importance for a person to know even the most important notes of his nation’s history, because we owe to know our origins and most important it is rather useful as knowing the history we can understand our today’s culture and politics and due to the fact that history reiterates we can face more efficiently imminent luminous situations that are similar to what happened in past.
Passing to the math and science, first and foremost we have to point out that we owe the advanced quality of today’s life and all technological and medical advances to that field. Having only that into consideration, it is obvious the significance of math and science. Moreover, practicing with science problems contributes to keep our mind in fitness. Last but not least, understanding the science we can make out in a way how things work and why nature and physical world around us behaves in that way.
After that brief presentation of fields that we discussed about, we can conclude that both of them are of significant importance and it can be more prosperous for a person when she gets a balanced education to all of them.
