Things Good About Homeschooling

The difference between homeschooling and traditional schooling.

Home schooling provides a better, broader education covering more then what’s on the curriculum. It offers a friendlier atmosphere and “one on one” teaching.

“One on one”, schooling greatly increases the child’s knowledge. It gives the child as much time needed to complete tasks. This may be countered by “lack of social experience”, and being “sharing impaired”. This however is not true. Home schooled children can apply to local teams and youth centres. In those activities they build up the vital social readiness for later life.

Home schooling provides a friendlier and more relaxed atmosphere. School based education usually takes place in a dreary, dull classroom that slows or stresses the mind. When home schooled, a child can work in any place during the day. Free to explore the outdoors. Some may say that “the mind will stray in a free environment”. However the exact opposite is true. A free, uncaged area broadens the mind, and allows free thinking.

Thirdly, home schooling provides a more flexible timetable and curriculum. Students may sleep in late to suit there focus level, and finish later. Pupils may also take as much time needed to understand or complete a task. They can work at their own pace, with no distractions.

In conclusion, home schooling is not only revered for it’s “one on one” teaching methods, but is also more suitable for the young mind.
