University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering(UVCE)

The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, popularly known as UVCE, is an engineering college affiliated to the Bangalore university and is located in Bangalore, INDIA. The college was established by Sir M.VISVESVARAYA in the year 1917.

UVCE is an autonomous college and the only engineering college that comes under Bangalore University. Around 550 students graduate from this college every year including the post graduation.

It has 6 different streams

1. Electronics and communication.
2. Computer science.
3. Information Science.
4. Mechanical.
5. Electrical.
6. Civil.

People who have studied in this college are presently working in almost all the companies globally, I don’t think that there is any company which has an UVCE student or had a UVCE student working in it.

Our college celebrates many technical and cultural fests, to name a few INSPIRON which is a technical fest, MILAGRO a cultural fest. There are fests conducted by individual branches also.

The present dean of UVCE is K.R.Venugopal who has 32 degrees in his name, with 2 PhD one in Computer Science and the other in Economics. He completed his engineering in the same college and is the dean of the college. He has worked hard for the development of the college. Now this is what i call commitment.

Hence I am proude of this college and i feel every student studying in this callege are proude of it.
