  • The teacher should then write down a list of words, at random or chosen from previous lessons.

  • The teacher  then allows the two teams to choose one representative member to pick up a marker pen, and walk to the board.

  • The teacher then shouts out a word from his list.

  • Each student writes that word down in their own section on the board.

  • The teacher then checks to see if the spellings are correct.

  • If the spellings are right, then the teacher will award a point.

The two teams can help their team members by calling out the spellings to them. This is a really awesome activity that will make your classroom come alive and buzz with excitement!
