What Are We Teaching Our Kids These Days

The other day I was reading an article about an 11 year old boy who committed suicide due to bullying. These days parents are teaching children hate rather then love. And they may not even know they are doing it. It could be as simple as a comment you make about someone passing by or as complex as racism. There is no reason an 11 year old should kill himself because he is being bullied. I know that schools have a lot of kids but it is the schools job to keep children safe while at their schools.

Bulling should not be tolerated. We need to think very carefully about what we say in front of children these days. You may think oh well they don’t know what I am talking about but they do and they listen to everything. So please keep in mind if there is a child with in ear shot they are listening. And you may be teaching them to hate without even knowing it. Also keep in mind its not just the voice its also actions. Teach your kids never to fear based on appearance. Teach them to love themselves as well as others. And last but not least lets teach them the values that are becoming a thing of the past. Our houses philosophy is to be peaceful respectful and responsible. If everyone instilled those three values in their children this world would be a more pleasant place to live for everyone.
