Why are Students Under Prepared for College?

This article will be about students and why they are under prepared for college.

There are multiple reasons why a student is under prepared for college. I am going to name a few reasons why. One reason as to why they are not ready for college is they took High School as a joke. While a student should have fun in High School they should also realize that not everything should be taken as a joke.

            Students have to realize that G.E.D programs and High School is just the first of many steps to setting up a strong foundation for life. Another reason as to why they are under prepared for college is because nobody before them has graduated or attended college. Or it could be that they’re High School was crappy. Other reasons why students are not prepared are because of either overworked, stressed out parents or lazy parents. Also it is the students, and / or teachers either overworked, stressed out or being lazy or for the teachers part unqualified.

            You see on one hand you have students who want to be somebody with qualified teachers and parents who behind their motivated kids every step of the way. On the other hand you have unmotivated students who want to don’t be somebody with unqualified teachers and parents who don’t deserve to be parents who are not doing their jobs as being parents and not being behind the kids every step of the way. Another reason is just on the students here because of lack of motivation, knowledge and maturity. The final reason as to why they are under prepared for college is because college is an experience like no other experience in life. There is no exactly clear or ultimate way to prepare for college. College is that kind of experience where you just have to go through it to really understand it.”
