Why Do You Go to School? an Honest Opinion
Do you ever question to yourself, "Why do I go to school" Leave a Comment please.
Schools have been around since the ancient Mesopotamiuns and I’m sure ever since, kids have disliked school. But what is school to you? Is it sitting, bored, with daydreams of being home having fun? Or is it sitting, entertained with over a billion facts to learn? We all have our own opinions on what school is, why don’t you share yours?
In my honest opinion, school is what prepares you for your future, but not in the field of knowledge, but in the field of routine. School is like work, you wake up early for it, you go home at midday. Sometimes you’ll have off and you’ll stay home if your sick. Routine is the keyword. Now compare school to work. Teachers are like Bosses; they will always trick themselves into believing they’re smarting than you, but they really are’nt. 60% of the time, espeically in elementary school and in middle school, teachers are taught to teach. Do you really believe teachers just write on a piece of paper: Today we will do so-and-so. I didn’t think so either. Usually it’s the Board of Education that do the teaching because they make the rules, and the teachers enforce them — The Board makes the lesson, the teachers enforce them.
I’m not trying to say all teachers are like this. Sure, plenty of teachers have had trouble with their computer at some time and called up the school “Fix-it” guy and of course he knows jack squat about what he’s doing, “Why?” you might ask? because they didn’t learn it themselves and even when I try to help, they think im stupid. Anyways, the point I’m trying to get across is that usually Highschool and mostly University/College teachers will actually know the stuff they’re teaching because they don’t want the kids to get the wrong ideas, which the Board will most likely enforce also.
So, why do you go to school? Do you go to have teachers think they’re better than you? Because honestly, I learn a whole seven hours worth of school, in roughly 20 minutes on google.

Its true, school no longer serves the purpose of education. the content knowledge provided during our years of institution is now easily accessible on your itouch. It now serves only to provide moral and behaviour training. This training is done through a doctrine carefully woven into curriculum design. The degree we recieve at the end is a certification. It is a licence to use the knowledge we have acquired in a work context. It indicates an ability to be compliant, rather than a proficiency.
