You Don’t Need to Go to The University

This topic has been argued for several years. There are a lot of people success without going to university, and there are also a lot of people can not find a job after graduated or have a job not fix with their major. And they have to come back to school to be trained again. So is it necessary to go to the university? 

Let’s turn back to the time that this world had no any university. How did a boy prepare for his career? He would work for a successful man in the major that he liked. For example, if he wanted to become an architecture, he would work as an assistance for an experienced architecture and try to learn from him everything that he could. When he had enough knowledge and experience, he would quit that job and start his own architect career. 

That is the classical way to learn and to start a career. It’s still work in our era. You don’t need to go to university actually. Because there are several ways for you to start a career. You can use several strategy to win and become success in our world. 

Some people will tell me that: “But how about the degree? People ask to see your graduated degree when they hire you or buy your service”. You are right. I myself agree that the graduated degree in some case will have a certain value to identify a person. But I have this opinion to share with you: People can cheat in the examination to have the degree. Does it have a true value? 

We are living a world that asked us to own as many degree as possible. But you know, beside some specific job such as doctor, lawyer, architecture and so on, the remainer don’t ask you to have a degree for them actually. Will you need to have a degree to become a writer? Mark Twain had no degree to become a writer. Or do you need a degree to become a graphic designer? Or do you need a degree to become a businessman, exporter, investor? 

If you start working without any degree, it’s not mean that you don’t have a change to become a successful people anymore. Andrew Carnegie had started his career as a worker in a steel factory. Let’s find and read about him to know who he became. 

If you start working with a graduated degree but you can not improve you skill and knowledge, you will also have a “change” to lose in this world. You have to know that there are so many students will graduate every year and they will join in your working market and compete with you. If you stop learning after graduated, your value will lower than a person who don’t stop learning. 

The main key is if you can improve yourself or not! You don’t need to go to university actually. People have many reasons to have to go to university and also several reasons to be not able go to university. But the change to become success is fair for everyone. A successful man is a person who never stop trying until he becomes success!
