Annoying

You know what makes me angry? People in America who try to say they are anything more than American. Like African Americans, Asian Americans, Latin Americans and so on. I can understand if you came from those countries and are now living here. But, what if you have never been to those places… Like a Black American saying they are African American and having never been anywhere near Africa. No, your not African American, your just American. You don’t have anything to do with Africa. Same thing with Asian people… Just because your ancestors came from Asia doesn’t make you Asian American… As long as you were born in this country then you are a plain old American.

You don’t see me running around telling people that I am Irish-Scottish-German-British-Australian-Asian-African-Russian-Japanese-Mexican American, just because my ancestors were from those places… I am just American and so are you. So get over it and quit saying that.
