Being Puerto Rican

Coming from a Puerto Rican background, you are taught from a very early age to embrace your culture. From being in the Pueblos in Puerto Rico, from the delicious food that we have. I am a very proud Puerto Rican and i embrace my culture and race each day. We Hispanics are shown how to cook at an early age, we learn Spanish at an early age because our parents spoke to us in Spanish. From the smell of solfrito to the smell of pork on Christmas day, its just amazing being in a rich culture.

I am very proud and i know many Puerto Ricans are. Tons and tons of research has been done about Puerto Rico. Our beautiful Island, our different beaches and towns. Its just amazing how many people from different cultures go to Puerto Rico on vacation and they come back just loving there experience. Its a beautiful location to live and go on vacation. The people are great and loving. Not only is our food rich in flavor with our spices but so is our music. We are known for Salsa, our music. It has plenty of favor and once you hear it you want to get up and dance. Its a good feeling and everyone loves the music, it’s very catchy.
