D’angelo Remakes Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” in New Rough Demo
D’Angelo warming up for his 2012 return "James River"

It’s been a while since we heard the smooth sounds of D’Angelo. Here we find him reworking Seattle grunge band Soundgarden’s hit “Black Hole Sun.“ The reclusive singer is working hard in the studio with old musical partner Questlove of The Roots and go-to producer of the moment, Mark Ronson on his upcoming album “James River.” It will be the first album by D’Angelo since his 2000 smash “Voodoo.”
D’Angelo is anxious for the world to hear his latest offering. He will be heading out on the road to play several European tour dates in the next few months.
