Eyes Don’t Lie
by There is a lot that can be observed from the Eyes and it can help us when relating to people.
I would like to think that I am observant. When I meet people or relate to them, I tend to pay attention to their eyes and there is a lot that can be revealed. This is what I see in some looks:
a) Heartache – Some people look drop dead gorgeous but if you look in their eyes, you will see a lot of pain and sorrow. They smile through it, but it remains. Something is eating away at them, inside.
b) Sunshine – Some people have such warmth in their eyes. They make you feel so comfortable and exude such positive karma, that you want to spend all day with them. Particularly with elderly people.
c) Evil – For some, or should I say a few, when you look in there eyes, there is something chilling that sends a shiver down your spine. For such, I look away slowly, pretending I didn’t see it – but saying to myself “what the….?”
d) Twinkly – Some Eyes just Twinkle – I see this a lot with kids. They sparkle and there’s so much innocence. Having said that some of these kids know when to pull a cute puppy face, to get what they want.
e) Stop – A lot of us can relate to this. When I was very young, if I was out with mum and was being naughty. Running round, knocking things over in someone’s living room. I’d look at Mum and she wouldn’t’ say a word, but from the look on her eyes – I knew it was time to sit down quietly.
f) Evasiveness – Finally, there’s those who just don’t want to look you in the eye. You wonder if they are shy or hiding something.

Yes, a lot can be found out by looking someone in the eyes. Good article, well done.

Unfortunately there are eyes that can hide a lot of things also.

I wouldn’t rush to judge people by their eyes. And it’s not really the eyes that give them away. It’s the gestures that we subconsciously notice. Sounds strange, I know. I met people that looked so warm and loving, that untill I got to know them better. Looks can sometimes be deceiving. Thanks!

Their is truth in what you say here. I am big on eyes and your article points out well that the eyes are the window into the person.

a beautiful share and great fun to read too. it was really interesting reading about the different eyes. some people also have penetrating eyes which seem to look straight through us. a wonderful artile. i once heard a t.v celebraty being asked, “how long does it take to know one?” to which he replied, promptly, “precisely 7 seconds” and she asked “that quickly?” and he replied, “yes, because you look right into their eyes and find out. eyes are the windows of the soul.” thanks for sharing, Elena, lovely article.

LadyE…I would have to say the ayes…or should that be the eyes have it! This is a great bit of information about eyes being the window to a person\\\’s soul…the heart can be wicked and deceitful, just like the mouth, but the eyes will never lie…very smart to study a person\\\’s eyes it makes you a good judge of character in very short order…I voted that I like this one…thanks and take care…

I love this. I have always disliked it so much when people won’t take their dark sunglasses off when inside. I need to look into their eyes. The eyes are the mirror to the soul, but they are also the windows to the soul. Thank you LadyE. This is delightful.
